Design terms
The terms DTAC, DTAD, DTOE, PT and DDE, used in design and construction, can create confusion for beneficiaries.
• DTAC (Technical Documentation for Building Authorization) : Project prepared by architect, structural engineer and installation engineers to obtain building authorization from the city hall/county council. Formerly: PAC.
• DTAD (Technical Documentation for Demolition Authorization) : Project for the total/partial demolition of a building, prepared by an architect, strength engineer and technical expert. Formerly: PAD.
• DTOE (Technical Documentation for the Organization of Execution) : Project for the organization of the construction site (barracks, fencing, temporary utilities), prepared by the architect. Formerly: POE.
• PT (Technical Project) : All the documents and plans necessary for the builder, developed by architects, engineers, geotechnicians and topometrists.
• DDE (Execution Details) : Part of the PT, documentation with constructive details for the construction's compliance with the project, legislation and authorization.
DTAC only allows obtaining the building permit (AC), and PT and DDE are required for the execution of the works, the Construction Book, phased acceptance and final acceptance.
